I was driving home and saw a lone swan flying in the opposite direction. I pulled over to see if it was going to land anywhere close, but it was still going. I started on my way again, only for the swan to catch up to me when I was on the highway. I decided to drive to the other side of town, following alongside the swan. When I got to the other side of town, I had a good idea of where it was headed. Once there, I got out of my vehicle, to get a better look at where this swan was, it took me a minute to find it and it was exactly where I thought it was going to be. The body of water was still frozen, so it did a few circles and started headed back the way it came. I didn't expect for it to fly nearly right over me, but I was so glad I was in the right place at the right time.
