I had used a call to find a golden-crowned kinglet, and thought I had a nice photo. Mostly in focus, light in the eye....then I realized there was a shadow right through the bird!!! Darn!!

I agree with Dennis Jane, lovely shot of a very pretty bird. The shadow of the branch doesn’t bother me. Everything about the shot is well done from the focusing, catch light and the bokeh.

Nothing to be disappointed about here! Lovely and sharp and hardly noticeable unless 'someone' very picky draws your attention to it. :) Shallow depth of field really draws the eye to the subject.
