Caught this cute Red-bellied Woodpecker on my walk in one of the Provincial parks. The bird perched quietly among intersecting branches that naturally framed the scene. A soft beam of light fell perfectly across the bird, highlighting its red crown against the darker background and drawing attention to an otherwise subtle moment in the forest
