It was thrilling to see a rare sighting of a Snowy Egret in Beausoleil, New Brunswick last week in mid April 2026! It is quite a rare bird in the Maritimes! His "yellow slippers", in addition to his small size and his distinctive yellow lores helped identify him. He was only seen for two days and never since. I was so happy to see him and take some photos at a distance, not to disturb him.
