Urban Wildlife is becoming more and more a thing. It seems with each passing year more and more wild animals are being seen living in or near populated areas. This Red Fox Vixen and her silver-coated offspring are prime examples as they survery the land atop a grassy knoll overlooking a very busy Port in Saint John, New Brunswick. For Red Foxes, in particular, such urban digs can be very beneficial to their existence. They well know that where humans hang their hats, so do rodents - their preferred meal. They also are aware that the closer they dwell to mankind, the lesser the chance they will be bothered by their main adversary, the coyote.
