this is a 2nd slide of these Praying Mantises. these are my first macro photographs with my 1st SLR camera, a Zenith-E. on Kodachrome 25 film. As a macro lens I had patented a binocular lens, reversed and then solidified with tape on the 55mm lens. This gave approximately the equivalent of a +2 diopter close-up filter. This photo is 'blurry' but I still wanted to publish it. All of this was a very, very long time ago, in 1972.
