The essential foraging of the bumblebee Notice the small yellow pollen grains stuck on its face and on its legs. It carries this pollen from flower to flower, ensuring their reproduction (pollination). Here I tried to lower the shutter speed to 1/500 sec, it is insufficient, there is slight movement in the legs. 1/800 sec gives better results. This is a minimum at this scale. photography from last summer.
