We were up on our property, fertilizing the field since it was raining on and off. I ventured off and sat within the flowers and could hear some Bluebirds. I focused around and saw quite a few pairs of them flying around the flowers and foraging along the ground. I was hoping for them to sit still long enough amongst the flowers (Balsamroots flowers), I just loved the yellow with their striking blue. This female looked right at me as I snapped her photo, I was a bit of a distance away, and I wasn't sure if it was going to turn out, but I love this one.
