Once I found there were some Long-tailed Ducks, I really wanted to try and get some photos of them. They would float off together on their own, but the Surf Scoters seemed to always want to be around them. It was incredible to be able to see this interaction and to have all these ducks here. None of them are known to be here, which made it even more special to witness this.
