Bees and Bumblebees love blue‑purple flowers _____ In this picture , Vetch of Jargeau flower. Because their eyes are maximally sensitive to ultraviolet (UV), blue, and violet light — not red._____ Bees have three photoreceptors, but their spectrum is shifted compared to ours:_____ UV → very strong sensitivity Blue → strong sensitivity Green → moderate sensitivity Red → invisible (they don’t have a red receptor) So a blue‑purple flower is like a neon sign to a bee.
