Hang in there!

This Barred Owlet got bumped out of the nest tree by a Eastern Gray Squirrel, on his way down to the ground he managed to grab on to this branch, he tried repeatedly to hoist himself on top of the branch but just couldn't do it. He held on as long as he could until he eventually got tired and let himself drop to the ground which at that point was only about 4 or 5 feet! He rested quietly for a bit and eventually found a slightly higher place to settle in and wait for food delivery from its parent. Ontario, Canada
