Peeking through the sedges: we spent some quiet moments with this young grizzly as it played and ate sedge grass. The guess, based on sightings, is that this young guy is about 3 years old and doing very well for a bear that lost it's mom at 1.5 years and has had to pretty much fend for himself. Now who says grizzlies aren't cute?! - taken at distance in Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary
