This morning was on a new back road I discovered and just pulled over to look for a minute and when I did WOW sitting right there on the log on the ground it front of me 5 feet away was this Barred Owl. He really did surprise me I never expected to see him. I took a few shots before he flew into the tree. He was small compared to other Barred Owls I have taken pictures of.
