This image was taken while out shooting with fellow aurora shooter, Zoltan Kenwell. It was quite dark and chilly on this night and I couldn't feel my toes by the time we finished shooting. I don't know why I didn't bring winter boots in the middle of an Albertan winter. It was all worth it in the end though, as I entered this photo into the Epson International Pano Awards competion and ended up placing 2nd place overall in the Amateur nature section.
