My name is Stephen Shikaze, and I am a veterinarian and wildlife photographer from Calgary, Alberta. I have always enjoyed nature and wildlife, and I recognize the power of photography and visual storytelling in inspiring conservation of nature and coexistence with wildlife. I prioritize ethics and animal welfare, and I believe some of the most captivating images of animals in their natural environment can be achieved when the photographer produces as little disturbance as possible.
