The Dutch technology industry is booming, and its close ties to the United Kingdom make it one of the countries most affected by the Brexit. However, the Netherlands has plenty of untapped talent with the IT sector representing less than 1% of the workforce, as the demand for IT professionals is set to increase to 33,000 employees in 2025 and <a href="https://mobilunity.nl/blog/wat-kost-het-u-om-ontwikkelaars-in-nederland-in-te-huren/">salaris software ontwikkelaar</a> help to get quality work. The Netherlands therefore needs to have a significant increase in the number of technology professionals, otherwise the country will not be able to keep up with demand.
