I began wildlife photography—specifically birds—in the summer of 2024, and it quickly felt like a natural fit. In my twenties, I spent years capturing snowboarders in action, so fast-moving subjects weren’t new to me. But bird photography came with a fresh set of challenges: unpredictable behavior, shifting light, and fleeting moments that demand patience and precision. I was hooked right away. What started as a casual interest has grown into a full-blown passion. My wife recently took up birdwatching as well, and now it’s something we can enjoy and learn from together. Observing bird behavior and understanding their habits has been deeply rewarding. I’m committed to respecting the wildlife and their habitats. It’s been a joy discovering the beauty of birds through the lens.
