I was born and raised on Vancouver Island, where I spent 52 years. It was a beautiful place to grow up. However, yearning to escape the rat race of city life, in 2024 my spouse and I sold our house, left our careers, retired early, bought a toy hauler, loaded our motorcycles and hit the road. We made the tiny town of Nakusp our permanent home, with plans to spend summers there and travel in winter. I have always loved nature and wildlife since I was a child. Now with more time on my hands, I have more time for reconnecting with nature and traveling, discovering a passion and fascination for birds. My photos are my journey, my story, my travels, my experiences, and the creatures and places I've been fortunate to connect with. I'm ready and excited for a bold, new, and thrilling chapter!
