Hi everyone, I sell products both online and in person, and every sale goes through either my website or a card machine. Even though a customer pays £20 (which includes VAT), I usually only see about £19 in my bank account after fees are taken out. I can’t remember the exact number off the top of my head, but it’s very low, though. Should I pay VAT on the £19 I receive or on the £20 the customer pays? Then I found <a href="https://vatcalc.onl/">vatcalc.onl</a> and it made my calculation easy. It shows me that VAT is always calculated on the total amount the customer pays, not what I receive after fees.
