A wildlife and nature photographer based in the Canadian Rockies. My journey into photography began early. I was handed my first camera at a young age and I began photographing everything around me: my family and friends, pets, landscapes and wildlife. Growing up our home was full of animals, from cats, rabbits, cockatiels and budgies to some more unusual companions like stick insects, African giant snails and orphaned ducks and pigeons. Being surrounded by animals and nature naturally shaped how I see the world and it sparked my fascination with wildlife and the outdoors. As I began travelling more, photography became an essential part of every journey. I found myself drawn to capturing wild places, remote landscapes and authentic moments outdoors. Over time I developed my skills and gradually focused my photography around wildlife and nature. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography and went on to volunteer for a conservation organization and then worked in climate change roles with the United Nations and global organizations. Photography allows me to combine my two biggest passions: the environment and storytelling through images. Today, photography is not just something I love, it’s how I share my connection with the natural world. There’s nothing I love more than having a camera in my hand, being outside and seeing animals in their natural habitats.
