Tyson Jerry is a young adventurer, passionate environmentalist and world-record holder. In 2011, Tyson Jerry, Co-Founder of Driven to Sustain demonstrated that traditional fuels are going the way of the dinosaurs when he was granted the Guinness World Record for the “Longest Journey By Car Using Alternative Fuel” using biofuel (48,535 km). During that time he visited over 250 schools, speaking to 10,000 youth as part of this education campaign. His project, Driven to Sustain got over 20,000,000 impressions internationally through major media outlets such as: Reuters, Fox News, NBC, CBS, ABC, CBC’s – The National, CTV’s – NewsNet, The Weather Network, The Toronto Star, The Metro, JALOPNIK, TreeHugger and many others. His commitment to energy education and clean methods of transportation is leading him to continue his work where he plans on circumnavigating the globe without using a gas station.
