Randy Hall is a Vancouver Island photographer specializing in nature photography, whether it is capturing natural settings such as seascapes or forest landscapes or the plants and animals that inhabit this part of British Columbia. Mother Nature is a great artist in her own right. Randy tries to capture moods with changing weather conditions, or in the case of wildlife, something about their behaviour. Randy’s images are his own interpretations of nature. He often uses post-processing software to enhance colours and contrast, but doesn’t alter the content of the images other than the removal of the occasional branch that “doesn’t belong”. By definition, that makes him a photography based digital artist. All images are for sale, and can be produced on different media, at various sizes. Images are available for purchase at Tosh Arts Centre (Side Door Studio) and through Fine Art America.
