I started taking photographs as a simple fun type of hobby as a replacement for the time I had available when my only child left the homestead and branched out on her own. Being an empty nester, the extra time I found after the workday allowed me to explore the world of digital photography. Little did I know that I would discover a world surrounding us that was filled with so much energy, vibrance and beauty; that this new hobby would turn out to be an incredible start to a new journey of learning and exploration. Everyday, no matter where or what I am doing, I am constantly creating in my mind the next location or photo shoot I will pursue. I get excited imagining what types of photos my creativity, my camera and life's improvisations will bring into my life.
