I am full-time firefighter with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department. Growing up I spent a lot of time traveling around Newfoundland with my family and continues to share that love of exploring our beautiful province with my 2 amazing daughters. I took up landscape photography in 2016 when my youngest daughter was born and fell in love with it. Since then, I have had pictures published by Canadian Geographic Magazine and has also worked with Newfoundland Tourism along with many others. With my love of exploring and the outdoors, it wasn’t long until I expanded my passion for photography into the wildlife scene. Where I continue to push myself further, learning everything I can to help me showcase the amazing animals of Newfoundland and Labrador. Since starting wildlife photography, I have had images also printed in Wild Planet Magazine, Saltscapes Magazine and The Globe and Mail. “I find photography one of the most mind-cleansing things you can do. There’s nothing more peaceful than watching an amazing sunrise in our beautiful outports, or walking through the deep boreal forests surrounded by all the sounds of nature.”
